Check fuel fill inlet f150. Post by jasonborrego sun feb 11 2018 8 35 pm. I don t see any debris in fill tube. A check fuel fill inlet message indicates there is an evap leak at or near the fuel tank fill inlet. 2012 f 150 xlt supercrew.

Went to put gas in it and it started overflowing at about 2 gallons. It drives a bit more smooth but still stalls when i start it up. Check to ensure that the gas tank is properly closed and that there are no leaks in the inlet pipe. So i bought a fuel treatment and cycled the cap less hinge 30 times to see if that would fix the warning light.

Average failure mileage is 62 550 miles. I have a 2012 f 150 and the check fuel inlet message came on and the truck was stalling and pulling. I have to drive it a few minutes before it shifts correctly. The 2013 ford f 150 has 2 problems reported for check fuel inlet light on.
